Buckle the F#ck UP!
If you are easily offended, this is not the show for you.
If you are looking for safe and inoffensive humor, without adult language then this relentlessly funny show probably isn’t for you. However, if you want something edgy, unfiltered and the feeling you are witnessing a celebrity roast, even if you somehow become the celebrity, then Vinnie just might become your new Favorito.
Following in the insult-comic footsteps of Don Rickles, Vinnie Favorito is Unfiltered with the laughs. His routine typically begins with a monologue, not unusual in the stand-up world. But it gets progressively more interesting from there as the comic then focuses on the audience, and many of its members. The fun element with Favorito comes not just from his insults, but because he mixes them in with observations on current events. Drawing on interactions with his audiences, Favorito offers a completely different standup routine then you’re used to seeing.
He has used this method to create hilariously offensive shows, which eventually led him to being a highly sought after celebrity roaster.
Like Rickles, audiences know he means no honest disrespect. He treats everyone the same: You name them and he’ll render you helpless as he rips you apart—and most often the victim is laughing right along with the rest of the audience.
Favorito, a Bostonian native began his hilarious career in 1985, when he started performing as a stand-up comedian. He quickly became a regular in clubs up and down the East Coast. In the late 1990s he moved to Los Angeles where he began headlining in well-known comedy venues including the Improv and the Comedy Store. He soon became known as THE celebrity roaster. During his career he has roasted such celebrities as Tom Arnold, Magic Johnson, Jerry Springer, Pat O’Brien and even the late Larry King.
George Carlin even called him "one of my favorite comics"
Favorito’s sharp tongue and quick wit, has earned him appearances on the “Best Damn Sports Show Period,” “The Late Late Show” with Craig Kilborn and a variety of Comedy Central shows. He’s been performing on television and in comedy clubs for more than 20 years. On his second stage appearance ever, Favorito won a Top 40 Star Search Competition, simply on the strength of his natural wit and more than two decades after his debut, the comedian has been headlining in Vegas since 2003.
